Standard Life Aberdeen subsidiary sells £652m of HDFC Life shares.


Standard Life Aberdeen said on Tuesday that wholly-owned subsidiary Standard Life Mauritius has sold just over 100.8m shares in HDFC Life on the stock exchange in India for around 67.3 bn rupees (£652m).

The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Standard Life said the subsidiary’s holding in HDFC is now 3.89% and valued at around 54.6bn rupees (£530m).
