Fund Objective: The Fund aims to increase the value of your investment over a period of 5 years or more. The Fund will invest at least 70% in equities (and their related securities) of UK companies (those domiciled, incorporated or having significant business in UK and those which are listed in the UK). The Investment Manager will focus on companies it believes to be undervalued and whose recovery potential is not recognised by the market. It is not restricted in terms of size or industry. The Fund is actively managed without reference to a benchmark. The Fund may also invest into other transferable securities, collective investment schemes, money market instruments, cash and deposits and is also able to use derivatives for efficient portfolio management and investment purposes. The Variable Share Class (W-VMF) measures its performance relative to the index for the purposes of the Investment Management Charge calculation. The performance index does not influence investment decisions materially. The Fund's performance can be compared to the FTSE All Share (Gross Total Return) Index as the index constituents are representative of the type of companies the Fund invests in. Many funds sold in the UK are grouped into sectors by the Investment Association (the trade body that represents UK Investment Managers), to facilitate comparison between funds with broadly similar characteristics. This Fund is classified in the IA UK All Companies sector. Performance data on funds within this sector may be prepared and published by data providers and will be used when evaluating the performance of this Fund. The IA sector most closely reflects the combination of assets in the Fund.
