Corero said on Friday that Miller will work alongside outgoing CFO Neil Pritchard until late September in order to ensure an orderly handover.
Miller has been a non-executive director at Corero since May 2020, having previously held the positions of CFO and chief operational officer from August 2010.
In parallel, the AIM-listed company said it has already commenced a search for Pritchard's successor.
As of 0930 BST, Corero shares were down 5.17% at 9.72p.
