Harbour Energy noted on Monday that operator Mubadala Energy has made a "significant" discovery at the Tangkulo-1 exploration well on the South Andaman licence in Indonesia, in which it has a 20% interest.

This follows the major discovery at Layaran-1 well on South Andaman in December 2023, Harbour said.
"The rig will now move to appraise the Layaran discovery, marking the final well of this exploration and appraisal campaign," it added.
At 1025 BST, the shares were up 2.9% at 308.62p.
