Rightmove said on Thursday that it had entered into a new membership agreement with online lettings agent OpenRent.

Shares in the property portal fell sharply on Tuesday after it announced that OpenRent was planning to end its contract with effect from 1 September, as the two had not been able to agree terms.
However, shares jumped on Thursday afternoon on news of a new contract, ending up 2.75% at 532.40p.
