The AIM-traded firm said Logistics UK, one of the UK’s largest business groups representing transport operators, conducts more than 50,000 vehicle inspections annually, and had chosen Transense to enhance the efficiency of its services.

Under the agreement, Logistics UK would deploy Translogik’s TLGX tyre inspection tools and TIRETASK software, customised to integrate with its compliance and certification platform, Vision.

The nationwide roll-out across a network of more than 65 vehicle inspection experts followed an extensive development and testing phase, during which Logistics UK engineers trialled the technology and provided feedback.

Transense said the solution would incorporate mobile tablet computers, a customised TIRETASK inspection app, and cloud-based data storage alongside Translogik’s tyre inspection tools.

It was designed to streamline data capture, reduce administrative workload, and improve the accuracy and efficiency of vehicle inspections.

“Our contract with Logistics UK represents a significant achievement for Transense and demonstrates the value our solutions bring to the fleet and logistics sectors,” said managing director Ryan Maughan.

“The partnership highlights the growing importance of digital transformation in the logistics and fleet management industries for vehicle compliance and inspection services.

“We're very proud to support Logistics UK in their mission to deliver industry-leading services to their members.”

At 1313 GMT, shares in Transense Technologies were up 2.67% at 127p.
