The company said the move, which was implemented via an introduction of its existing shares, did not involve any fundraising or issuance of new shares.

It said its ordinary shares were admitted to the Equity Shares (Commercial Companies) category of the FCA’s Official List, and retained their existing ISIN and ticker symbol.

Brooks Macdonald said the admission was intended to support its long-term growth strategy and enhance the profile and liquidity of its shares.

Following admission, the company’s issued share capital comprised 16,382,539 shares, with none held in treasury.

“The move will enhance the Group's corporate profile and broaden our shareholder base,” said chief executive officer Andrea Montague.

“This marks the start of a new chapter, and I am excited about us making the most of the opportunities in the UK wealth market to deliver for all our stakeholders.”

At 0953 GMT, shares in Brooks Macdonald Group were down 0.34% at 1,480p.
