Ryanair passenger numbers jump 10% in March.


Budget airline Ryanair reported a 10% jump in passenger numbers for March on Wednesday.

Traffic rose to 15m from 13.6m in the same month a year earlier, while the load factor - which gauges how full the planes are - was stable at 93%.

On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers grew 9% to 200.2m and the load factor was unchanged at 94%.

Ryanair said it operated more than 84,000 flights in March.
