The AIM-traded firm said SEA would deliver maintenance, repairs, and regulatory inspections for the Royal Navy’s towed array handling equipment, supporting operations both at UK dockyards and internationally.
It said the long-term contract would strengthen SEA’s role in the Royal Navy’s underwater sensor capabilities.
“The award of this contract underlines SEA's position as a trusted provider and maintainer of state-of-the-art systems for naval ship and fleet protection,” said chief executive officer Andrew Thomis.
“We are pleased to have established this important partnership with Thales UK and look forward to building on our long-standing relationship with the Royal Navy throughout this 15-year programme.
“Together with other recent contract wins at SEA and across the group, this announcement further enhances the visibility of our future revenues.”
