FTSE 250 movers: Inchcape motors; Moonpig off investors card list.

Car dealership Inchcape rose as it reiterated its full-year outlook and hailed a resilient operating performance in the first half.

Miners were among the biggest gainers as copper prices rose with Hochschild Mining making gains. Qinetiq jumped as Nato governments agreed to buy more weapons as the latest arms race gathered pace.

Moonpig reported a rise in annual earnings and announced the departure of long-serving chief executive Nickyl Raithatha, as the online greetings card and gifting group posted strong growth in adjusted earnings and free cash flow.

WAG Payment Solutions, Premier Foods, Hollywood Bowl, B&M European Value Retail, Ocean Wilsons Holdings, TR Property, Templeton Emerging Markets, Caledonia Investments and discoverIE were all lower after trading ex-dividend.
