The AIM-traded firm said the launch followed the first order announced in April, and would see the product sold online and in major retailers including Walmart.

Marketing would feature two OptiBiotix studies showing reductions in hunger of 74% and 83%.

Orders had also been received for a second Hydroxycut application expected later in the year.

OptiBiotix said Hydroxycut, which has sold over 100 million bottles in the past two decades, is widely stocked across US retail chains and was increasingly focused on science-backed products.

It said the addition of SlimBiome would differentiate Hydroxycut in the weight management market, adding that it had already generated orders for nearly five metric tonnes of the ingredient in 2025.

“The company has been working with Hydroxycut for almost two years to carry out human studies which allows the brand to make health claims of reductions in hunger of 74% and 83% in the US,” said chief executive Stephen O’Hara.

“The launch with Hydroxycut substantiates the science behind SlimBiome and helps build the SlimBiome brand in consumer markets around the world.

“If successful, individually and collectively, these launches have the potential to make a significant contribution to future sales growth and shareholder value.”

At 1409 BST, shares in OptiBiotix Health were up 13.27% at 11.61p.
