The AIM-traded firm said the distributor planned to launch the products first in its largest market by sales, with further European rollouts to follow if successful.

Sales would be made through its existing consultant network and e-commerce channels.

OptiBiotix said a first order was expected within three months, with product launch anticipated in the first half of 2026.

“We are pleased to announce this agreement with a well-known and established weight management company,” said chief executive Stephen O’Hara.

“This agreement brings together the trust, loyalty, and customer base of a recognised brand with the science and functionality of SlimBiome.”

He added that following the launch of anti-obesity drugs, natural, scientifically proven, non-drug alternatives to reduce hunger and cravings were “actively being sought” by consumers.

“This announcement demonstrates that the science and multiple human studies carried out on SlimBiome is attracting the interest of major brands around the world.”

OptiBiotix said the deal reflected growing demand for functional ingredients in weight management products, as traditional brands sought to add clinically-backed alternatives alongside pharmaceutical treatments.

At 1135 BST, OptiBiotix Health shares were down 3.01% at 12.24p.
