London open: Stocks edge lower ahead of Powell speech.
London stocks edged lower in early trade on Friday after closing at a fresh record a day earlier for the third session in a row, as investors eyed an upcoming speech by Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell at Jackson Hole.
