The AIM-traded intellectual property investor said the certification confirmed Guident hahd implemented a comprehensive framework to protect critical assets, technologies, and processes, embedding rigorous security practices across its operations.

“This accomplishment reflects Guident's top-down commitment to embedding security into our strategy and governance,” said Dr Gabriel Castaneda, Guident’s vice president of AI and research.

“Integrating this standard into our business model ensures that every technology decision and operational process is aligned with international best practices.”

Christopher Romig, the lead implementer of Guident’s information security management system, added: “Implementing the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard provides us with the opportunity to move from ad-hoc security measures to a structured system.

“By institutionalising risk reduction, vulnerability management, and incident response, we've built a culture of accountability that will continue to evolve to deal with emerging threats.”

Tekcapital said the certification would enhance trust among clients and partners by strengthening risk management, incident response, and regulatory compliance, with Guident committed to continuous improvement through annual audits and reviews.

At 0921 BST, shares in Tekcapital were up 4.6% at 7.84p.
