The AIM-traded company said drill hole JUD001 was finished on 15 September at a depth of 810 metres, successfully intersecting all targeted rock sequences.

It said the drill rig had now been moved to the second prepared pad, where hole JUD002 is under way.

Core from JUD001 would be sent for laboratory analysis in the coming days, with assay results expected in the final quarter of 2025.

Geo described Juno as a largely underexplored area with the potential to host a district-scale discovery, spanning an interpreted footprint of 4 km by 2 km.

The company said the completion of JUD001 marked an important first step in building an understanding of the system and reaffirmed its commitment to systematic exploration.

“Completion of our first drill hole at Juno is a key milestone towards unlocking what could be the starting piece of the puzzle for a potential district-scale deposit for Geo,” said chief executive Omar Ahmad.

“This is our maiden drill programme in a four by two kilometre area, and both myself and the team look forward to receiving assays in the December quarter.”

At 1557 BST, shares in Geo Exploration were down 20.49% at 0.32p.
