Director dealings: Franchise Brands chairman raises stake.


Franchise Brands revealed on Thursday that executive chairman Stephen Hemsley had acquired 50,000 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed firm.

Hemsley, who co-founded Franchise Brands in 2008, purchased the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 120.58p each, for a total value of £60,289.05.

Following the transaction, Hemsley holds a beneficial interest in 23.9m ordinary Franchise Brands shares, representing approximately 11.82% of the company's issued share capital.

As of 1540 BST, Franchise Brands shares were up 2.07% at 123.50p.
