Senior revealed on Thursday that chairman Ian King had acquired 75,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed manufacturing and engineering firm.

King, who joined the board of Senior in 2017, purchased the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 173.87p, for a total value of £130,402.50.

As of 1535 GMT, Senior shares were up 2.83% at 181.80p.
