Petards subsidiary receives £650k order from BAE Systems.
Advanced security and surveillance systems developer Petards said on Monday that its subsidiary, Petards Joyce-Loebl, has received an order worth approximately £650,000 from BAE Systems.

Petards said the order was for products which provide "essential electrical safety assurance" in military aerospace applications. Delivery of the full order was scheduled to be completed during 2026.
Chairman Raschid Abdullah said: "We are very pleased that BAE has selected Petards to meet the requirements of its customers in keeping their critical military assets operational, and the personnel that support and operate them safe.
"Petards Joyce-Loebl has been supplying these products to BAE and to the wider defence market for many years, and has a long history in the design, manufacture and support of robust electronic products used in demanding applications."
As of 1015 GMT, Petards shares were up 9.59% at 10.68p.
