IG Group said on Monday that outgoing chair Mike McTighe has agreed to remain in the role until a permanent successor is in place.

The company announced in September that McTighe was planning to retire at the end of this year.
It said on Monday that the search for a successor was "progressing well" and a further announcement will be made in due course.
