Director dealings: Vianet executive chairman snaps up shares.


Vianet revealed on Friday that chairman and chief executive James Dickson had acquired 40,000 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed firm.

Dickson, who took over as CEO in 2003, purchased the shares on Thursday at an average price of 69p each, for a total value of £27,600.

Following the transaction, Dickson holds a beneficial interest in 5.26m ordinary Vianet shares, representing approximately 18.52% of the company's issued share capital.

As of 1545 GMT, Vianet shares were up 0.88% at 69.10p.
