The life sciences group said the suspension took effect from 0830 BST on 1 April, following its failure to announce results for the six months ended 31 December by the end of March.

It said the delay came as a previously-announced board investigation and an independent forensic review by FRP Advisory remained ongoing.

The company said both processes were progressing, and were expected to conclude later in April.

SkinBioTherapeutics said trading in its shares was expected to resume once the interim results were published, and that it would update shareholders on the outcome of the forensic review and board investigation as soon as possible.
