Director dealings: Bioventix chairman raises stake.


Bioventix revealed on Monday that chairman Ian Nicholson had acquired 1,000 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed biotechnology firm.

Nicholson, who took over as chairman in November 2004, purchased the shares on Friday at an average price of 1,848p each, for a total value of £18,480.

Following the transaction, Nicholson holds a beneficial interest in 14,500 ordinary Bioventix shares, representing approximately 0.3% of the company's issued share capital.

As of 1425 BST, Bioventix shares were up 2.11% at 1,889p.
