Director dealings: Mears Group CFO makes share sale.


Mears Group revealed on Monday that chief financial officer Andrew Smith had disposed of 108,303 ordinary shares in the London-listed housing and social care provider.

Smith, who offloaded the stock to cover tax liabilities triggered by his 8 May option exercise, sold the shares at an average price of 400.50p each, for a total value of £433,753.53.

Following the transaction, Smith holds a beneficial interest in approximately 585,609 ordinary Mears shares, representing approximately 0.69% of the company's issued share capital.

As of 1400 BST, Mears shares were up 0.50% at 404.50p.
