Results included 27 metres at 0.15% WO3 from Channel C, including 11 metres at 0.25% WO3, and 18 metres at 0.15% WO3 from Channel F, including 6 metres at 0.22% WO3.

The AIM-traded company said the results would inform a fully permitted maiden drilling programme expected to start in the coming weeks.

Chief executive Ed Loye said the latest work had “confirmed broad and significant tungsten mineralisation” and strengthened Great Western’s interpretation of “a significant at-surface, multi-kilometre tungsten corridor.”

At 1010 BST, shares in Great Western Mining Corporation were down 1.95% at 3.11p.
