The AIM-listed firm highlighted that Waymark previously spent time at NatWest and was the CFO at a start-up bank.

Executive chair Richard Last said: "We are pleased to welcome Matt to Iomart as our new chief financial officer. Matt was selected following a thorough and rigorous process, and the board is confident that his experience and financial leadership will be a significant asset as we continue to execute our strategy and deliver value for shareholders. On behalf of the board, I look forward to working closely with Matt as he joins the team."
