In a regulatory filing on Tuesday, the company reported that Jan Peter Tewes purchased 37,500 shares at 224.1032p each for a total of £84,038.70.
Tewes now holds 37,625 shares, including 125 shares that were held prior to his appointment as CEO on 17 August.
The exec, who joined Videndum from Villeroy and Boch, was the former CEO of private equity-owned Ideal Standard, and is said to have "considerable experience in brand and distribution channel management", the company said in a statement July.
Tewes' transaction follows a crash in Videndum's stock as of late – the share price was trading around the 2,500-2,600p level in early January and the 11,000p mark this time last year – as a result of a string of profit warnings, supply chain disruptions and tough market conditions.
