Volex plc (AIM: VLX) announces that it has been informed that Lord Rothschild, Executive Chairman, has purchased a total of 102,797 ordinary shares of 25 pence in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") via NR Holdings Limited, each at an average price of 220 pence per Ordinary Share.  

 

Following these transactions, Lord Rothschild* is interested in 46,896,681 Ordinary Shares (save for unvested or unexercised awards), representing approximately 25.4 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

 

* Including those shares held through NR Holdings Limited, of which Lord Rothschild is a beneficiary.
