Smithson Investment Trust plc announces that on 2 May 2025, it purchased for holding in treasury 47,327 ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of 1,469.74 pence per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 56,110,741 ordinary shares held in treasury and 120,997,217 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 177,107,958.
