JPMORGAN GLOBAL EMERGING MARKETS INCOME TRUST PLC

 

REPURCHASE OF SHARES

JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc (the "Company") has today purchased 77,276 ordinary shares into Treasury at 142.00 pence per share.

 

Following the transaction, the Company holds 24,804,694 ordinary shares in Treasury. The remaining ordinary shares in issue less the total number of shares in Treasury is 272,484,744.

 

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

 

The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
