Update regarding Marylebone Partners LLP and Brown Advisory

The Board of Majedie Investments PLC notes that its manager, Marylebone Partners LLP, is in advanced discussions to join Brown Advisory, an independent investment management and strategic advisory firm. Assuming completion, the Board sees that this would be a positive development for the Company and its shareholders.

Any transaction would be subject to regulatory approval and due diligence, which is underway. The Marylebone team will transition to Brown Advisory and will continue to be responsible for the management of the Company's portfolio.

The Board does not anticipate a material impact on Majedie's NAV arising from its interest in Marylebone Partners LLP. It will ensure ongoing alignment between the interests of manager and shareholders.

A further update will be provided in due course.
