Non-executive Director appointment
Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc (the "Company" or "Aston Martin") announces the appointment of Andrew McNaught as Non-executive Director, with immediate effect. Andrew joins the Board as a shareholder representative director of Ernesto Bertarelli, whose affiliated investment funds hold a significant shareholding in the Company and are also members of the Yew Tree Consortium. He replaces Cyrus Jilla, who steps down from the Board today. Andrew has also been appointed a member of the Company's Nomination Committee and as an observer on the Company's Remuneration Committee with immediate effect.
Andrew has had an extensive career in investment banking, most recently as Managing Director and Chair of UK Advisory at BNP Paribas. Prior to that Andrew was Managing Director, Co-Head of EMEA M&A at Nomura International PLC, having spent a significant part of his earlier career at Lazard and Tricorn Partners LLP. Since leaving BNP Paribas, Andrew has become an advisor to B-Flexion, the investment firm chaired by Ernesto Bertarelli.
