Board APPOINTMENT

Berkeley is pleased to announce that Kate Tinsley OBE will be appointed as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 November 2026. Kate will become a member of the Remuneration Committee.

Kate Tinsley has been Chief Executive Officer of private equity owned MKM Building Supplies since September 2020. Kate qualified as a chartered accountant at Deloitte and has held a number of senior management roles across the industry including at Grafton Group and Saint-Gobain.

Kate has served as a Non-Executive Director of The Football Association since 2017 and is currently Senior Independent Director. She has served on the Nomination, Remuneration, Audit & Risk and Commercial Committees and led the appointment process for a new FA Chair. Kate is due to step down from the FA Board in October 2026.

Rob Perrins, Executive Chair, said: “I am delighted to welcome Kate to Berkeley. She brings extensive supply chain, private equity and industry experience, coupled with significant governance expertise, and will be a great addition to the Board.”
