North Atlantic, of which non-executive director Christopher Mills is a beneficiary, sold the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 750.0p each, for a total value of £2.25m.
Back in September, MJ Gleeson said annual profits had plunged by more than 80% after the Covid-19 pandemic saw the housing market grind to a halt.
Revenues in the year to 30 June 2020 came in at £147.2m, a 41% fall on the previous year, while pre-tax profits plunged 86% to £5.6m and volumes fell 30% to 1,072 units sold.
As of 1630 GMT, MJ Gleeson shares were down 1.09% at 731.94p.
